Burness Advise on £20m Investment in Euro Environmental Group
Scottish law firm Burness LLP have advised the shareholders and management team of Euro Environmental Group (EEG), a Scottish based provider of drain and sewer cleaning, inspection and repair services, on the management buy-out and £20m investment in the business by Sovereign Capital.
The Burness team was led by corporate partner Mark Ellis, assisted by Steven Hannah.
Mark Ellis commented:
"We are delighted to have been involved with this transaction. With Sovereign's backing and the strength of the EEG team, it promises to be an exciting few years ahead for the business."
The deal is the latest in a number of private equity transactions for Burness and follows hotly on the heals of Burness having advised the management team of McKinnon & Clarke on their £22.1m private equity funded management buy-out.
