Jennifer Chambers

Jennifer specialises in pensions law and advises a wide variety of clients including multi-national companies, private equity houses, life offices, public bodies and trustee boards.   As well as providing regular ongoing pensions advice to both employers and trustees, Jennifer also provides pensions support on issues arising from business transactions and reorganisations, PPP projects and pensions disputes. 

Jennifer has experience advising in both contentious and non-contentious pensions law matters and her recent experience includes liability management projects, scheme redocumentation exercises, Court of Session and High Court pension disputes, entry to the Pension Protection Fund, public body transfers of staff under TUPE and pension aspects of corporate transactions, including dealing with section 75 debts and apportionments.

Jennifer also provides independent trustee services through our independent trustee company, Burness Pension Trustees Limited.
