Grant Stevenson

Grant’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate matters. Capitalising on his City experience gained at Herbert Smith, he has particular expertise in public takeovers, private M&A transactions, equity capital markets, joint ventures, private equity work and investment fund formations.

His recent transactions include advising:

• BlueGem Capital Partners LLP on its £42m recommended offer for Liberty plc;

• STV plc on its Class 1 disposal of Pearl & Dean Cinemas Limited;

• Italian Stock Exchange listed Sol Group on the share purchase of Dolby Medical Limited;

• HBOS plc and the administrators on the restructuring, subsequent administration and share and asset disposals of the Kenmore Property Group.

Grant is noted by Legal 500 as being “technically excellent yet commercially minded”.

He is also head of the firm’s highly regarded media practice.
