Claire Mills

Claire specialises in construction law and projects. She advises both public and private sector clients in relation to major capital projects, all types of PFI/PPP, NPD projects (health, education, transport, waste), general development work and contractual negotiations.  Claire has been involved in recent innovative projects such as the Scottish Futures Trust's 'hub' model.

Claire regularly drafts and negotiates development agreements, building contracts, professional team appointments, collateral warranties, and agreements for lease of new build and refurbished premises, and funding agreements for construction projects.  In addition, she advises clients on their health & safety responsibilities and liabilities.
