Employment

When you are looking for employment law advice, we know the issues that really matter - and our priority is to find the best solutions for you and your business.

Our team, which has a host of law award titles under its belt, advises on all areas of employment, pensions and benefits law for clients in the private and public sectors including employment contracts, sex discrimination, unfair dismissal, working time, trade union disputes and recognition, wind-ups, transfers and TUPE-related issues.

Our proactive approach means we work with clients to achieve best practice on all people issues, preventing employment disputes from arising in the first place. We regularly help clients meet their strategic business objectives by working together through change management exercises involving business transfers and large-scale reorganisations of staff.

We also offer our b*spoke Employment Law Training Programme, a suite of four interactive training packages providing practical, relevant solutions to all manner of potential HR challenges. From discipline to absence management and poor performance, each training module is tailored specifically to your industry, guiding you through a range of real-life scenarios played out on film by professional actors. Each film acts as a 'virtual role-play' via interactive DVD to explore, in real time, the specific legal issues which arise. The objective is to empower your people managers with a view to avoiding employment disputes from arising in the first place. Delivered by our 'battle-hardened' team of lawyers, these packages are based on full- or half-day on-site sessions and interactive workshops.
