Workers on sick leave can reclaim lost holidays
In the case of Vincente Pereda v Madrid Movilidad SA the European Court of Justice, the EU's highest court, has decided that where a worker falls ill during paid holiday leave, the worker is entitled to take the paid leave at another time. This decision could have a number of implications for employers.
