Our wind practice is currently advising on 50 onshore projects. In the last year we have advised on projects exceeding a total capital value of £620m and a combined renewable energy power of 517MW. These projects will create 210 turbines in total.

We act on behalf of leading international on and offshore renewable energy operators, including SeaEnergy, North British Windpower, Vattenfall AB and Duke Energy Corporation.

We have in-depth experience of advising clients in energy from waste projects, including biomass and combined heat and power plants.

Burness is also the country’s front runner in community-based renewable projects and has been involved in more than 20 projects to date from the Scottish Borders to the Outer Hebrides.
