Burness supports ICSA Scottish Governance Conference - 15 June 2011
Burness is a supporting partner of the Scottish Governance Conference 2011 being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, where speakers will examine the new governance landscape taking shape in Scotland.
The focus is on how good governance can add value to Scottish businesses, and the programme includes a review of the Financial Reporting Council’s guidance on board effectiveness, a look at the Davies Review of women on boards, and an update on recent practical developments from Companies House Scotland.
The conference will take place on the morning of Wednesday 15 June 2011 at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and will be chaired by Donald McPherson, Company Secretary at Alliance Trust PLC.
