Rewards and Benefits
Here are a few of the ways we reward and support our employees:
Financial Rewards & Benefits
We pay highly competitive salaries to our employees, which reflects the skills and experience that you have. As well as offering excellent holidays, which includes the ability to take up to 6 days holidays as flexi time, we also offer a number of benefits including a discretionary bonus scheme that is applicable to all employees. Our benefits package also includes a contributory pension plan, life assurance and access to a subsidised healthcare scheme.
Sports and Social Activities
There are a number of sports or social activities that you can get involved in at Burness. We have teams taking part in five a side football, touch rugby, netball and softball, so whatever your interest we have a team that you can join. We have an annual firm wide BBQ and Christmas party that is a good opportunity to meet up with colleagues.
Training and Development
We strongly believe in the value of training and development. We are committed to developing everyone within the firm to realise their full potential. Each member of staff agrees a personal development plan, focused on job and career development, with their manager, which is tailored to their individual needs. Development within the firm, backed up by dedicated resource, covers a range of legal, technical, IT and personal skills. In addition we are initiating structured development programmes, underpinned by the Burness Principles and linked to 360-degree feedback, for Partners/Directors and Associates, which focus on people management and leadership.
